About This Crazy Escapade
This is an inspired exhibition. Every day during the 2026 Lent - we will feed your soul and heart with a daily tribute to an incredible Woman. She may be known to you. She may not be. Each piece is totally unique and one piece a day for 40 days will be released for sale.
I felt led by God to create this as a tribute to the incredible women of the world who are crucified in all of the ways we are, yet being a woman is the most amazing gift. We are labelled from the moment we are born. We have all of these societal and cultural norms to live up to, rules to follow, boundaries not to break. But thank god for the women who break them, break free from the chains of expectations and do it their way. Setting the paving for the rest of us to follow suit.
Each piece is imperfectly perfect. Irreplaceable. There is only one of her. She has been curated with pure love and worship.
Lent is a time for reflection. For contemplation. For focusing on the important things and reducing the complexity of life down to be more meaningful and simple. It means something to some and nothing to others but regardless. Jesus on the Cross is symbolic, known and seen around the world. He rose again. Women rise daily. This is a tribute and a celebration of the pain and the perseverance, the tenacity, the strength and beauty of women.
To purchase a piece is to make angels sing and fairies dance. It is to make magic happen.

I could go on.........
Each Doll is reclaimed. She has been used and thrown away. The wooden crucifix upon which she hangs is also reclaimed. The horseshoes have been worn by majestic horses. They have been blessed with holy water for good luck and virtue. They are the crown. You do not have a horse without a foot. And a horse shoe is fundamental to most horses. Yes some go barefoot but for the ones that dont, those shoes provide protection and structure. That means something. It has real meaning for why I have added them and used them. They are symbolic in a number of ways and they are beautiful. They are all individually hand made by a dying trade.
Each piece is symbolic of a woman who has inspired me or continues to inspires me. Women who have been prevalent in my life because they are 'in" my life or they have influenced my life, my thinking, my beliefs from a far. There are way moe than 40 women who have done this.
I am a no-one but I wanted to create something that celebrates life in a bit of a different way. It's fun, meaningful to me, hopefully to you or the person you maybe buy one for. I wanted to something that stands for something I believe in. Celebrating incredible women because they make the world turn. I was raised in a strict Irish catholic home and so the alignment with Lent is symbolic in a few ways to me but what it means to you is for you to decide for yourself. Some of you may say it is distasteful. For me it is aligned Symbolism. We all have difficult life challenges. We navigate that in different ways but we support each other, we drag each other through. We always rise again, we always conquer - every woman out there is stronger than any man I know. Absolute heroic warriors. I stand in complete admiration of you all.
This expedition, this adventure, this creative, heart filled process is intended to hurt no-one, but to create a tribute of love and admiration to the incredible women of the world.
Women born as women.
As women of this world, this universe, we each have a journey, a story to tell. The pain, the words, the tenacity and resilience of pushing through, carrying all of the labels, the good, the bad, the ugly. Redemption for us is in our success. The success of every woman out there, killing it as a mom, a wife, a worker bee, a boss bitch, whatever it may be, it feeds the belief in other women that they too can succeed. These pieces are for you. In all the ways.
